Lilian

Lilian loves to sing and play violin.  She started sailing aged 8 at Galway Bay Sailing Club summer courses; her favorite dinghy is a topaz.

Lilian is passionate about horse-riding and wants a horse when we return!.  She also loves to swim and devours books; her favorite book at the moment is ‘A wolf called wander’ by Rosanne Parry.  We use her book collection as ballast!

Lilian is looking forward to the warmer waters of the Caribbean!

 

Ruairi

Ruairí started sailing in Galway bay sailing club at the age of 7, he loves going fast and his favourite dingy to sail is a Topaz or Dart.  He loves to play violin, and is pretty handy on it and is exceedingly good at extracting multiple euros from passing tourists when busking!

Ruairí is sport mad, loves hurling swimming and soccer and really wants a dog when we return.  He thinks it might be a collie!

He also loves to read which is great since there is a lot of time to read on-board. He is currently reading ‘Why the whales came’ by Michael Morpogo, which is very apt as we are currently at anchor just off Mhyer in the Scilly Islands where the book is set.  Ruairí sometimes gets a little seasick; but its getting easier the more passages we make.
