From Cameret sur mer we head down the coast of France. The sailing is incredible, clam seas and the wind on the beam 25kts, incredible sailing at 6kts. We stopped at the Isles de Glenans, a request from Vera who had grown up with the sailing manual on the book shelf. All those years ago back in the early 80's this picture was a different world - now we were here!

Exploring Isles de Glenan

The crystal clear waters made for the kids first snorkeling adventures, though marine life was minimal. Good training ground, and both Lilian and Ruairí also make their first dive on Danú's anchor.

Trying not to inhale water!

Our first stab at bread baking and flapjacks from Ruairí (and Vera)

Our next stop was Trinite sur mer for Peter's birthday, an amazing French meal and as per Peter's request a trip to the Menhirs at Carnac.

Amazing food ..

The Menhirs at Carnac 6,000 years standing! Incredible to see, a must if you in the area.

We then have a great visit from Janine, Gordon, Amelia, Dillon and Rian who are on holidays in the area. Our first dinner party on Danú in Trinite sur mer! A great evening, followed by fireworks fir Bastille day.

We leave the racing machines of Trinité and head out to the sanctuary of Belle isle, beautiful, very French, fantastic coastal walking.
